Jemo-pharm A/S is a pharmaceutical company, producing herbal medicine and nutritional supplement products.

The company was founded in 1986, and has two parallel business areas:

• Development, production and marketing of own products
• Production under contract of other companies products (private brands)

Jemo-pharm A/S' own products have a wide range. The company produces herbal medicine for the prevention and relief of illnesses such as osteo-arthrosis, apathy, insomnia, poor blood circulation, tiredness, loss of memory and bladder infections.

In addition a selection of vitamins and nutritional supplements are produced, such as multi-vitamin mineral tablets as well as ginger, selenium and garlic tablets.

The demand for new medicines, herbal medicines and nutritional supplements is on the increase, and there are many reasons for this. The population as a whole is changing its habits. Many have an unhealthy diet, are overweight and do not take enough exercise. Therefore life style illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart diseases and diabetes are spreading. This leads to an increased requirement for treatment, and at the same time increases the interest in health and prevention.

The market for herbal medicine and nutritional supplements is however a motley one. There are many different products, and there is a great difference in their quality. As a result many consumers find the market confusing.

Jemo-pharm A/S is approved by the Danish Medicines Agency and the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration for the production and sale of medicines and nutritional supplements. The company is GMP-certified, and this means that all our products are manufactured in accordance with the most rigid quality requirements.

GMP stands for "Good Manufacturing Practice".

The GMP rules contain comprehensive requirements for premises, personnel, raw materials and the end product. The quality requirements ensure that the medicine is produced by well-qualified staff, is composed of suitable raw materials under suitable conditions and that the products comply with the requirements for uniformity and durability (read more here).

The GMP rules are not valid for nutritional supplements, but because Jemo-pharm A/S also produces medicines and is GMP certified, all our products, including nutritional supplements, are produced in accordance with GMP.

The objective of the company is also to develop in future new products of high quality, which can meet the increasing demands.
