Why is C-Long a controlled-release tablet?

Because the excess of vitamin C is passed via the urine, and a lot can be lost in this manner. C-Long is a controlled-release tablet, which is slowly dissolved on its passage through the organism. The vitamin is therefore absorbed a little bit at a time over a long period, and so you get the full yield from the tablet. Take a C-Long morning and evening, and ensure a stable supply of vitamin C.

How can it be, that I can do with just 1 tablet of Garlic-Long a day?

Because Garlic-Long is a controlled-release tablet, which releases the garlic for absorption over a long period. Thus you get the benefit of the effect of the garlic for a long time, and only need a single tablet daily. The controlled-release effect also ensures that the tablet is dissolved in the alimentary canal. The malodorous sulphur products occur here, and not in the mouth, and in that way the unpleasant garlic smells are minimised.

Can Vitabutin be used during pregnancy?

Yes, Vitabutin can be used both during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

When can I expect Modigen to take effect?

If you don't notice an effect within 4-6 weeks, then you should stop the treatment and contact a doctor.

Can Vitabutin be compared with cranberry juice?

Yes. Vitabutin contains spray-dried cranberry juice. 6 capsules, which is the recommended daily dose, correspond to 1½ litres of diluted cranberry juice. The capsules may be swallowed whole, or you can empty the contents into a glass of water, stir it and drink it.

What is the difference between a herbal medicine and a nutritional supplement?

Can I see the difference between a herbal medicine and a nutritional supplement?

Yes, you can. All medicines have to be approved by the Danish Medicines Agency, before they may be sold in Denmark. On approval each product is given an MT number (marketing permission number) which must always be shown on the package. Nutritional supplements have no such number. Read more.
